This Privacy Policy describes how FirstBank (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile banking application (“App”). This policy applies to the App and its related services. The Types of Information We Collect in the App

Through your use of the Services, we may collect personal information from you in the following ways:

With your permission, we may access your device contacts to enable person-to-person payment features. We only access contacts when you initiate a feature that requires it.

If you have enabled location services on your phone and agree to the collection of your location when prompted by the Services, we will collect location data when you use the Services even when the app is closed or not in use; for example, to provide our fraud detection services. If you do not want us to collect this information, you may decline the collection of your location when prompted or adjust the location services settings on your device.

We may collect information related to push notifications and in-app messages regarding your account activity, SMS verification codes for multi-factor authentication, and communications you send to us such as email or customer support inquiries.

(g) Images

With your permission, we may access your device camera or photo library to enable mobile check deposit and document verification features. Images captured for these purposes are transmitted securely and retained only as required by law and banking regulations.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain our Services, process your transactions, verify your identity, detect and prevent fraud, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, respond to court orders and legal investigations, report to credit bureaus, send account alerts and service updates, market our products and services to you, and improve your experience.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information as necessary for our everyday business purposes, such as processing transactions, maintaining accounts, responding to legal investigations, and reporting to credit bureaus. We may also share information with service providers and third-party partners, including analytics tools and technology providers, who perform services on our behalf. These parties are obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Our affiliates include First Antlers Bancorporation, Inc. We do not share your creditworthiness information with affiliates for their everyday business purposes. We do not share your information with non-affiliates for their marketing purposes. We do not engage in joint marketing with other financial companies.

How We Protect Your Information

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, computer and network safeguards, and secured files and buildings.

Your Choices

Federal law gives you the right to limit sharing of your information in certain circumstances, including sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes related to your creditworthiness, affiliates using your information to market to you, and sharing with non-affiliates for their marketing purposes. As noted above, FirstBank does not engage in these types of sharing.

You may control certain data collection through your device settings, including location services, camera access, contacts access, and notification preferences. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, please contact us using the information below. If you hold a joint account, your choices will apply to all individuals on the account.

Other Information

The App may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not currently respond to browser “do not track” signals. We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
