Notice of Your Financial Privacy Rights

FirstBank understands your concerns regarding “non-public personal financial information.” (This is your personal financial information, which is not publicly available through sources such as telephone books, court records or newspapers.) Keeping financial information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. 

Access to your information is restricted to those employees who need  that information in order  to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information.

From time to time we may enter into agreements with other companies to provide services to us or make products and services available to you. Under these agreements, the companies may receive information about you but they must safeguard this information, and they may not use it for any other purposes.

This Privacy Policy applies to consumers who are current customers or former customers of FirstBank.

We collect information about our customers from the following sources:

• Information you give us on applications or other forms.
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others.
• Information from public sources such as real estate records, telephone books, court records, etc.
• Information from a consumer reporting agency.

Our policy is not to share non-public personal information about our customers or former customers with unaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law, such as:

• The information is provided to help complete a customer initiated transaction;
• The customer requests the information be disclosed;
• The disclosure is required by or allowed by law, such as when the disclosure is made in response to a subpoena; and
• The disclosure is made to a reputable consumer reporting agency.

We may share non public personal financial information with our affiliates that provide financial products and services such as insurance or mortgage lending.

You may request that application information, consumer report information and information from outside sources not be shared with our affiliates.  You may also choose not to receive marketing offers, sent by postal, telephone or e-mail. If you choose to opt out your request will remain on file for five years.
